Spot and Billy already had the name when I was asked to play with them. Although we would go through several member rotations, the above picture is the way I like to remember Spot and Billy the best (from left to right): Danny Beider: vocals and keyboards, William "Farmboy" Steffey: guitar and backup vocals, Bryan "Rez" Resindez: drums, Mark "Möif" Murphy: bass guitar, and Rick Manelis: guitar and backup vocals.

In the summer of 1994, we spent a few days at Jem Studios in Evanston (don't look for it- it's not there anymore) under the careful ear of Scott Exum. The 4 song EP called "Bell Hung to a Chime" emerged. In March of 2009, I remastered it and converted it to mp3 for your downloading pleasure. I also included 2 live tracks from a show at (I think) Wrigleyville Tap. If there's any interest from the old fanbase, buzz me at mailbox09@williamsteffey.com and I'll post a podcast or two from some shows. Enjoy!
